How to prepare for a job interview?

job-interview-how-toA job interview has usually its own specific rules. While preparing for it, remember about a few simple rules.

Firstly, try to learn as much as possible about your potential employer. Do that before your interview!

Just before the interview, read again the job advertisement.

Be punctual, at least that time!

 

Take your CV/resume with you and all other documents needed.

Below you can find some questions you may be asked at your job interview. Think it through how would answer them.

  • Tell us something about yourself.
  • Why do you want to work in our company?
  • What is your weakest point?/Tell us something about your shortcomings.
  • Are we the only company where you have sent your CV and covering letter?
  • How much would you like to be paid?

Remember as well that there are some questions you should not be asked by an employer. These are, for example, questions considering:

  • matrimonial plans,
  • pregnancy planning,
  • religious beliefs,
  • sexual orientation.
